Why Should You Encase Your Bed? Certified bed bug proof zippered mattress and box spring encasements are an essential part of any bed bug prevention and protection program. These encasement covers trap and kill bed bugs already inside the bed and prevent new bed bugs from entering. Bed bug covers allow you to keep your bed, saving money on replacements. It also allows early detection of newly introduced bed bugs. Fiber Content: Mattress: 100% Polyester Stretch knit with a Urethane coating. Box Spring: Two layers of non-woven polypropylene bonded to a meltblown polypropylene filtration layer. Care Instructions: Machine wash up to 140°F. Machine dry cool or line dry. Bed bug covers should be left on for at least one year. To determine size of bed, measure: Length x Width x Depth Please note that while mattress covers stretch up to 2", box spring covers do not.
